The Hurdy Gurdy Lesson at Art School

The thesis focuses on playing the hurdy gurdy and materials dealing with this theme. The work first presents the historical background of this musical instrument, its development, mechanics and possibilities of the instrument. Furthermore, it processes and compares the literature available for players dealing with the topic of playing the hurdy gurdy. The main content of the work is the creation of methodical material for playing the hurdy gurdy suitable as an aid for teaching in the Art school environment, as well as study material for self-taught students. This material contains the necessary information that a player needs to know during the beginnings of the hurdy gurdy playing, i.e., information starting with the functions of the individual parts of the instrument, through the adjustment and maintenance of the instrument to the explanation of the playing the instrument itself separately for the right- and left-hand technique. It also includes sheet music with a repertoire of widely played pieces on the hurdy gurdy. The benefit of the methodology is also the Czech language in which it is written, which can supplement the necessary, but currently missing information about playing this instrument in the Czech environment. The development of musicality in pre-school children by creative work

This thesis is focused on original creation of songs and lyrics suitable for children in pre-school age and support of their creativity during music practicing. Theoretical part describes present concept of music education for children in pre-school age and requirements based on RVP PV, characteristics of development curiosities with focus on development of music skills. Following chapter is about children creativity and music activities. Last chapters are focused on original compositions suitable for children in pre-school age. The thesis contains practical part with methodology covering author's songs, lyrics and sheet music along with methodic processes supporting children creativity and development of music skills.
Teaching "Art and Culture" and "Health Education" at Primary School

The thesis represents a brief outline of the educational system in the Czech Republic and a view into the Framework Educational Programme for Elementary Education (RVP). The main subject of the work is the content and the characteristics of two educational areas called "Arts and Culture" and "Health Education" at the first grade of an elementary school regarding specifics and needs of the pupils of younger school age. Individual categories of subjects correspond with the created methodical material aimed at the third class of elementary schools. Moreover, the thesis deals with the situation at schools and the attitude of the first grade teachers to individual educational subject such as Arts, Music, Physical Education, etc. The work focuses on what influences the teachers´ perception of the subjects, how they are taught and how they are evaluated in the framework of other subjects.

The bachelor thesis focuses on teaching the topic of eating habits, which is part of the educational field of Health Education. The theoretical part is to clarify the concepts of healthy nutrition, healthy lifestyle and education towards health. The methods of the theoretical were analysis, synthesis and comparison of professional resources, both printed and electronic. The practical part is the design of methodology support for teaching the topic of eating habits, which was prepared in relation to the study of ŠVP exact secondary school of Southern Moravia. The design of methodological support is nestled in the subject of Study about food and nutrition.
